Original GM Genuine Vapor Canister Purge Valve / Solenoid
Common issue with OBD error P0496 or, if the Opel GT starts bad after a fuel refill. The original GM Genuine solenoid is no longer available as sparepart at the Opel dealer, but here in the Opel GT Cabrio Shop. For a bargain, see our identical part as takeoff parts from new engines.
Test purge valve:
Open the quick connector of the vacuum line on top of the purge valve on the intake manifold. Try to blow through the hose, if open / possible, the valve is bad.
