Clutch pedal sensor, Genuine GM spare part from 2008
If the GT won't start with fully battery power, sometimes the clutch pedal sensor is weak.
Starting with the 2008 model year, only one type of clutch pedal sensor (potentiometer, 3-pin connector, see picture 3) is installed, which is the one discussed here. Not suitable for 2007 vehicles, as those models were equipped with two completely different clutch pedal switches.

Note: The clutch pedal sensor must be programmed/calibrated into the system by the workshop (ignition on -> “Body Control Units” menu -> select menu item: “Module Setup” -> select procedure “Calibration of Clutch Pedal Position Sensor” -> follow the on-screen instructions.
