Strut mounts / strut support, front/rear
If you hear cracking or scraping noise from the front end or from the trunk when steering, this may be an indication of defective strut mounts. Before replacing them on the Opel GT Roadster, all wheel hub bolts should always be checked for tightness. Squeaking and creaking noises from the front in cold weather indicate hardened stabilizer bearings.
As a replacement for the no longer available support bearings from Opel/GM/AC Delco (Opel 4804674 / GM 10376404) we offer here strut bearings of the well-known manufacturer Monroe or other aftermarket brands. The rubber plate is for the OEM springs, for lowering springs or kw suspensions this part is not needed.
The upper part, the strut mount is also required for coilovers from Weitec, KW, ST suspension!
