Guide rail, aftermarket, INA / Schaeffler
If you hear a clapping rubbing noise in the front engine area when the engine is cold, the tension guide of the balancer shaft / water pump drive is most likely broken. Visual inspection is possible after removing an inspection cover for the water pump.
